NAIREB's website was recently ranked as one of the top 5% of all websites in the world by Alexa.com. Less than 90 days ago our website ranked as low as the top 10% of websites. How did our Webmaster move our website's ranking up so fast? The main thing was our new Link Exchange Program.

Third, if you're going to do a Link Exchange Program, do it right! Don't just setup one page and place all your exchanged links on that page. In the real estate business we say that location is everything and that's also true in a Link Exchange Program. Creating a new page for each state, country, etc. for exchanged links is the best way to do it. If you're located in the United States, your webpage for national real estate organizations could be called, "National Real Estate Links". You might also have one for Canadian Real Estate Links, International Real Estate Links, etc. Pages can be setup after you get a link exchange request to save you time. Inspiration For NAIREB


NAIREB was inspired by the common experience of thousands of Real Estate Brokers that have left franchises and are looking for national support services. Some of these Brokers left franchises because of the high commission splits that they were required to pay on every transaction. Some left because of the expensive office or "desk fees" they had to pay (Even when their real offices were located in their own homes). Finally, many Brokers stopped working for franchises because the local franchise when out of business. Many times local franchises have gone out of business because of the high fees required by national franchises.

Recently, as NAIREB's Executive Director, I had the opportunity to speak with a Real Estate Broker who had owned the 7th largest real estate company in one of the world's largest franchises. He had paid millions of dollars to this huge franchise, but when he needed some special assistance from them, they offered him no help. In fact, their only interest seemed to be "relocating" his Real Estate Agents to other franchise companies located in his area. Yes, he's an Independent Real Estate Broker now and owns his own real estate business!

NAIREB was founded in 1999 and our national website was established the following year. Our goal has always been to provided many of the vital support and promotional services of a national franchise without the high cost or contracts. We want to assist all Independent Real Estate Brokers "to build and perfect the best real estate businesses".
